While this park has existed for a long time, it was previously owned by the Polish Falcons and referred to as Falcons Grove. The park is located at the end of Round Lake Drive in Michigan Center just past the 5th Street Launch at Center lake and the Leoni Township building.
I can say that the new playground and park are a big hit with kids and families. This Labor Day weekend we were one of several families that were able to go check it out and let the kids play. There were plenty of kids of all ages playing and climbing on the playground equipment and going over to the swimming area. This park was very well used and I can see many families enjoying it and making memories over the coming years.
While other popular spots on the Michigan Center Chain of Lakes for swimming include the Wolf Lake sandbar, the Little Wolf Lake county park, the point at Duryea's Point on Center Lake, and often a spot on Price Lake near the inlet to the lake, this one seems like it will be a favorite as people become more aware of it. The parking, swimming area, shade, playground, and pavilion really offer a lot for the community to enjoy.
